In 2022, Cat Gaddis reunited with the Downtown Charlie Brown's Blues Band and
performed in a guest appearance at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago, IL, where she received rave reviews
and she also appeared at Johnny’s Blitz Bar & Grill to a standing room only crowd.
That same year, she came out of a twenty-year retirement and formed
The Cat Gaddis Project with four of Chicago's best musicians
Glover Washington, drummer, David Kellen, keyboardist, David Jordan, guitarist and Reggie Harrington, bassist.
Recently the Cat Gaddis project has added three horn players to the roster to expand her blues, jazz and R&B sound.
Cat Gaddis began performing professionally at the age of 16 and at the age of 19 she moved to Chicago, IL
where was the opening act for former Heavy Weight Boxing Champion, Ernie Terrell.
After performing with Terrell, she moved to Miami, FL to perform with the legendary band
Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders where she started as a background singer. A year later, Cat became Cochran's opening act
and she performed all over the world with Cochran, appearing at numerous venues such as:
The Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas, The Troubadour in Los Angeles,
The Newport in Miami Beach, and The El Macombo in Toronto.
During her time with Wayne and the CC Riders she appeared with them on:
The James Brown Show on TBN, Atlanta, GA
The Dinah Shore Show: MGM Grand, Las Vegas
The Merv Griffin Show: Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
She was signed to TK Records as a solo artist, and later became a producer, song writer, and sound engineer.
During her time at TK Records, she was stable mates alongside artists such as:
Bobby Caldwell, KC and the Sunshine Band, Foxy, Betty Wright, Anita Ward, Benny Latimore,
Peter Brown, Jimmy "Bo" Horne, Timmy Thomas, George and Gwen McCrae, and T-Connection.
Cat relocated to Chicago, IL where she performed with:
What the Funk,The Manhattan Project, Downtown Charlie Brown's Blues Band,
The Q-Balls, The Chi-Town Showstoppers and the Rhythm Kitchen Blues Band
Currently, Cat Gaddis is performing in the Chicagoland area and she is producing and recording a four-part music release entitled
“The Cycles of My Life "
